Samoniche is the name I have given to my musical creative project, and the title to one of my instrumental  pieces.

The word Samoniche came to me as I was exploring sounds that I liked for the title to an instrumental piece. I realized the word itself has it's meaning within the syllables. 

Sa = Sound

Mon = My

Niche = Individual creative self

We all have a unique creative self expression that we can tap into, create and evolve from.

Hi, I'm a guitarist and musician based in Melbourne, Australia.

I started playing guitar in my teenage years and soon found it was a place to escape from the world around me, and into my inner world. 

It may well have been my first experience of finding a meditative state. Music has always been a way to come back to myself and find peace in vibration and sound.

I've had varied musical influences over the course of my life. From Grunge and Heavy Metal to acoustic Folk and Country, from Flamenco to Kirtan, from Singer Songwriter to POP music, from Jazz to Classical.

I've played in a few bands over the years and occasionally some solo gigs, open mics and various events.

I recently made the decision to start recording some of the music that finds its way through me, whether it be my own creations, cover versions of songs, or Mantra that I resonate with. 

I have started this recording process with 4 pieces. Two instrumental pieces and 2 Mantra. 

...and there will be more to come! 

I recently uploaded some songs onto various music streaming  platforms, and will hopefully record and release more music in 2024 or 2025 and beyond.
